Jordan Franke Bio
Walk-on long snapper who impressed the coaches in a camp setting with his speed and accurate snaps… changed his body and improved his speed and athleticism during his senior season… figures to challenge Cole Rasmussen for the backup duties behind All-SEC performer Hunter Rogers in his first year.
HIGH SCHOOL
Graduated from Verona (Wis.) High School in 2023… played outside linebacker in addition to long snapping… coached by Andrew Riley… helped the Wildcats go undefeated in conference play, 8-2 overall, and win the Big Eight Conference for the first time in 11 years… earned honorable mention all-conference honors… champion of the 2022 Rubio Midwest Long Snapping showcase… also played basketball, baseball and ran track… was an academic all-state selection and a member of the National Honor Society… is fluent in Spanish.
PERSONAL
Jordan Franke’s father, Eric Franke, was a long snapper at Indiana from 1992-93… mother, Kim (Sveum) was a Big 10 champion gymnast at Minnesota.
