Red Gum Bowl 2. Private collection
This 14″ red gum was made from a piece of tree root. A picture of the 1500 lbs. root is shown in the “Behind the Scenes” section. The bark inclusion combined with the sapwood makes for an interesting contrast to the burl wood itself.
